2006

The Excell family retires from the hospitality business.
Hans and Christina Dunzinger become the new owners, committed to continuing the almost 50-year hospitality tradition.
Local architect and teacher at the Delaware School of Design, Peter Stempel helped the Dunzingers bring their new vision of Driftwood Lodge to life.

2007

Major renovations were made to enhance the guest experience and emphasize the incredible views of the Canyon from the property.
A shuttle bus service is added to take guests straight from the lodge to Zion National Park.
